Provision of Industrial Training to Equine Students of UTM

SKUDAI, 10 March – A landmark decision was sealed between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Majlis Ekuin Malaysia with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions, for the provision of industrial training to undergraduates undertaking the Bachelor of Science in Equine Management course.

The undergraduates are from the School of Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences and will be sent to MEM in batches, to complete their Horse Management and Riding Modules of their 4-year degree programme.

MEM is indeed honoured with this recognition of our services to the development of human capital for the equine industry.

The gathering was hosted by the Vice-Chancellor of UTM, Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Ahmad Fauzi bin Ismail, whilst MEM was represented by its Chairman YAM Tengku Syarif Temenggong Perlis Dato’ Seri DiRaja Syed Amir Abidin ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail.
