Every year, the Malaysian Equine Council accepts applications for internship and apprenticeship positions from local and international students. Until October 2021, we have received placement students from the universities listed below:

- Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
- Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Bachelor of Animal Production and Health
- Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Bachelor of Parks and Recreation Science
- Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Bachelor of Agriculture (Animal Science)
- University of Edinburgh, UK, Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery
- Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Bachelor of Science in Animal Resource Science and Management
Get yourself prepared to experience working in the equine industry.
- Your primary responsibilities include horse care and management.
- You will work with a veterinarian to treat horses and create an equine profile.
- You will have the opportunity to upskill by attending equine-related courses.

For important information regarding the internship, please read the following:
- Working days: 5.5 days a week
- Day off: 1.5 days off on weekdays
- Dress code: Collared T-shirts with long pants. Work boots must be worn when working around horses
